ABOUT US

Meadows Cafe is a family run business, who want to create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone. We are based on the outskirts of Llanfyllin in the Workhouse, also known as Y Dolydd. This is the Welsh word for the Meadows, which is how we founded our name. 

Our aim is to provide high quality food and coffee, to do this we have opted to utilise local businesses. For example, we are currently using Blue Monday Coffee, we had been recommended them by a friend, and after researching and seeing how passionate they are about their coffee, it was a no-brainer to go with them. They locally roast their coffee, and create their own blends, to create the most diverse flavour profiles. 

We hope that by coming here you can learn about the history of the Workhouse, whilst also getting to enjoy the hidden beauty of it. We have various gardens here to explore, whilst enjoying a delicious coffee or eating our homemade bakery items.
